Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to construct my home?
There are many factors that dictate the time it takes to build your home: Financing, permit process, weather, subcontractor availability, etc. It is difficult to predict how long each home will take, but we make every effort to leverage our resources effectively to construct your home as quickly as possible while maintaining a high quality result.

How much will my home cost? What is your price per square foot?
Castlewood Custom Homes has an extensive list of standard features that we include in each and every home. However, we want our customers to have choices when it comes to upgrades and features that they would like to include. A meeting with our sales team to discuss your individual needs for your home is the best way to build a solid purchase price. Square footage pricing may not reflect what you really want in your home.

Can I get a construction loan?
We can help you find a bank or credit union that offers construction loans. They have a streamlined pre-approval process that you will go through directly with the bank.
|
Do I have to build in one of your subdivisions?
You do not have to build a home in one of our subdivisions. We will assist you in finding a lot or you can come to us with your lot. We like to be involved as early as possible with lot selection so that we can determine if the lot is buildable.
|
Do I have to bring my own plans?
You do not need to bring your own plans. We have an extensive library of plans to choose from, or we can refer you to our architect to design your home. Dave can also help you redesign one of our plans to fit your needs.
|
Will the builder be involved in the construction of the house?
Dave supervises each and every home we build. This personalized involvement and accountability allows any issues to be resolved quickly instead of being ignored. Dave takes great pride in the work he and his crews do.

Do you have a warranty?
Castlewood is proud to offer an 18 month warranty on any workmanship defects in your home. We will not ‘disappear’ the moment you move into your home! Please contact us for full details.
